Hi, I’m Amy Zhou! I’m an engineer and designer who loves working on ways to make the world more sustainable. I started a company called Mobius (currently exploring)
I studied Product Design and Mechanical Engineering (with a minor in music! 🎶) at Stanford University. I’ve also worked at Apple, where I helped create products that are both practical and better for the environment.
Now, I live in San Francisco, where I spend my time working on creative projects and exploring the city. I love meeting new people and chatting about anything—you can set up a time to talk with me here!
When I’m not working, here are some of my favorite things to do:
•Making things: Crocheting, painting, making jewelry, working with polymer clay, or creating something out of old materials.
•Music: Playing the clarinet or listening to Elvis Presley.
•Adventuring: Walking or biking around the city, shopping, or drawing fun and weird things.
•Food: Stealing free food from events, eating junk food, drinking Red Bull in the sunshine, or cooking creative meals out of leftovers (sometimes they’re delicious, sometimes not so much).
•Fun and relaxing: Wearing a beautiful dress, skateboarding on smooth paths, riding in a car, or putting together over-the-top slideshows.
•Getting free stuff: I love a good freebie or upcycling project!
•Being busy: I’m great at multitasking and love learning how to use tools like ChatGPT to make things easier.
